2006 Fundraiser Event: Family Picnic

Fundraiser a GREAT Success!
A warm and enthusiastic thank you to all the corporations, business, families and volunteers who helped make our second annual family picnic fundraiser event a financial success. Almost $30,000 was raised that will go directly to environmental education at Selah. More than 300 people attended a family-style picnic on April 30. Ranch tours, childrens' activities, live animals, guided nature walks, plant sales and a silent auction made for a busy, fun-filled day.
We would like to send extra thanks to the following businesses and individuals who contributed to the day's success: The Preserve at Walnut Springs, Tank Town Rainwater, Margie Crisp Design, Nature's Treasures, Lucas Miller, Central Market, Fat Boy Burgers, Medina Garden Nursery, San Antonio Botanical Center, Rainbow Gardens, Moyer Tree Farm and students from Clint Small Middle School. Without these fine establishments and a long list of dedicated volunteers and board members, we could not have been able to provide such an enjoyable day for so many families - all in the name of environmental education!
Would you like to make a tax-deductible donation to the Bamberger Ranch Preserve? Donations are now accepted online via PayPal, or contact Colleen Gardner at 830-868-2630 for more information about how you can help the mission of Selah continue in perpetuity. Next year's event and details will be announced later this year.
